The source adds the following information: The sample was split evenly between management (including executives) and AI practitioners and covered a wide range of financial services segments, including asset managers and owners, broker-dealers, consultancies, commercial and retail banks, fintechs, investment banks, insurers, market data providers and exchanges, payments firms, and regulators. Respondents represented companies of different sizes: one-third reported annual revenue above 250 million U.S. dollars, and 40 percent came from firms with more than 500 employees. The global online survey was distributed via NVIDIA’s mailing lists and social media and, in China, through a third-party agency.

Among financial services respondents using or assessing AI agents, performance and reliability was the most frequently cited challenge in 2025. About ** percent pointed to issues such as accuracy drift or unpredictable results. Close behind, ** percent highlighted a lack of internal skills or expertise to manage or monitor AI agents. Data-related issues such as privacy, sovereignty, and dispersed data locations ranked third at ** percent, while implementation hurdles related to usability and integration with existing workflows and regulatory and ethical concerns were each cited by ** percent. Overall, ** percent of the financial institutions used or were assessing agentic AI in 2025, making it one of the main AI workloads in the sector.Ìý
