According to an October 2024 survey of senior leaders in the Asia-Pacific region, the most commonly cited concerns about using artificial intelligence (AI) systems included security vulnerabilities that expose companies to cyberattacks, the risks of pervasive surveillance, and privacy breaches involving confidential data. In Singapore, for example, ** percent of surveyed leaders identified security vulnerabilities as a major concern, while ** percent expressed worries about privacy risks.Â
