According to an October 2024 survey of senior leaders in the Asia-Pacific region, common challenges in adopting artificial intelligence included regulatory, legal, ethical, and compliance concerns; limited understanding of AI and its potential; a shortage of skilled talent; and technological implementation difficulties. In India, for example, ** percent of surveyed leaders cited technological challenges as a key barrier to AI adoption, while ** percent pointed to a lack of understanding of the technology and its capabilities.
