App subscriptions of different durations showed considerable variation in user retention, with weekly subscriptions seeing a more pronounced and faster user drop-off compared to long-term services. Subscription services with weekly plans decreased to percent user retention after only a month, compared to percent retention with monthly plans and percent retention with yearly plans. In contrast, yearly subscription plans saw a retention rate of over ** percent throughout the year, but experienced a sharp decrease at renewal, falling to percent.
