According to a global survey conducted in 2024, 57 percent of women and 47 percent of men would prefer a real-life partner over a virtual reality partner. Overall, 27 percent of women and 35 percent of men would prefer a perfect VR partner. Moreover, 16 percent of women and 17 percent of men were open to the idea of having both a real-life partner and a VR partner.
