According to a 2024 survey, banks trailed other financial sectors in AI maturity. While 21 percent of banks had yet to embark on their AI journey, only six percent of insurers and just four percent of fintechs reported the same. Fintechs, with their digital-first foundations and inherent agility, have naturally adopted AI more rapidly and comprehensively than traditional banks and insurance companies.
