The data used was an average compiled from responses from retail investors with brokerage accounts on trading apps including Trading 212, HL (Hargreaves Lansdown), Freetrade, Etoro, AJ Bell YouInvest, Moneybox, Fidelity, Wealthify, Interactive Investor, and Nutmeg. Survey respondents were located in the United Kingdom ranging from 18 to 75 years old. Each respondent was a user of a trading app with varying portfolio values and goals.
Respondents were asked to score the importance of an app feature from one to five. One being unimportant and five being important.
