Time from booking to appointment in general practice in England 2025
In February 2025, 44 percent of general practice appointments took place on the same day that they were booked. A small share, 4.3 percent, took place 28 days or more after the booking date. This translated to roughly 1.3 million appointments out of nearly 30 million GP appointments in total that month.
