Time from booking to GP appointment in England 2025
In February 2025, over half, or 56 percent, of general practice appointments seen by a GP took place on the same day that they were booked. A small share, 2.2 percent, took place 28 days or more after the booking date. These appointments include non-urgent or regular/repeat appointments that may be booked in advance.
