In 2023, the share of Palestinian employees working in the Israeli agricultural sector fell to ** percent. Two years prior, this figure reached almost ** percent. Between 2016 and 2022 the share of agricultural workers coming from the West Bank and Gaza generally remained stable. Following the start of the Israel-Hamas war on October 7, 2023, the Israeli government sharply reduced the number of Palestinians permitted to work in Israel.
