C. The expected change in the economic situation in Israel in the next 12 months

D. Intentions to make large purchases, such as furniture and electric appliances, in the next 12 months compared to the last 12 months.

Citation formats

Israel's consumer confidence index reached **points in June 2026. Since the October 2025, consumer sentiment in Israel had recovered to pre-war levels. The indicator provides insight into Israeli households' perceptions of their financial situations.

Public consumption recovers

Despite the subdued consumer confidence after the October 7 attacks and ensuing war in 2023, the consumer market in Israel tells a different story. Private consumption reached ��ǳܳ��*** billion Israeli shekels in the first quarter of 2025, representing an increase of ***percent from the first quarter in 2024. The gradual improvement in consumer spending suggested a steady recovery in the consumption side of the economy.

Credit card transactions are growing

Credit card payments also demonstrated signs of recovery. In the first quarter of 2025, the total value of credit card transactions in Israel amounted to over *** billion Israeli shekels, marking a *** percent increase year-on-year.
