"China-chic", also known as "Guochao", is a consumption trend where consumers favor products with Chinese characteristics as well as trendy domestic goods. It is also used as a term to describe products integrated with traditional cultural elements.

According to a survey among Chinese consumers conducted in November 2023, **** percent of respondents found China-chic (or "Guochao") style cosmetic products interesting, but did not want not buy any of them. Meanwhile, **** percent of respondents found the idea creative and said they would like to buy some China-chic cosmetic products. Another **** percent of respondents were also willing to try such products if they had a good reputation.
