According to a November 2023 survey of adults in the United States, 39 percent of male respondents stated that they thought social media was good for society, compared to 26 percent of female respondents. In contrast, 30 percent of U.S. men and 27 percent of U.S. women had negative views. Overall, 38 percent of women and 26 percent of men thought social media was neither good nor bad, and eight percent of all respondents stated that they were not sure.
