According to a 2023 survey of internet users in the United States, many TikTok users do not consider TikTok a threat to the country's security. Approximately 52 percent of the social video platform users said they do not view TikTok as a national threat. In comparison, four out of every 10 U.S. adult citizens answered "Yes," indicating that they consider TikTok a potential national security threat to the U.S.
