On January 8, 2023, 57 percent of adults in the United States had a favorable impression of Facebook. Meta platforms announced on January 25 that former president Donald Trump's account would be reinstated after a two-year ban. By February 5, 2023, 61 percent of U.S. adults stated to have a favorable impression of Facebook. Furthermore, within the measured period, trust in the platform also increased slightly.
