According to a survey conducted in July 2023 among consumers in Australia regarding sustainable fashion and greenwashing, only around **** percent of respondents said they felt that fashion brands were transparent about how sustainable and ethical their products are. Over ** percent of those surveyed indicated that fashion brands, from their perspective, lacked transparency or were not at all forthcoming regarding their business sustainability and ethical practices.
