In a 2023 survey conducted among Australian consumers regarding greenwashing and sustainable fashion, around ** percent of those surveyed indicated that they believe fashion brands are greenwashing to some extent when making claims about the sustainability of their products or services. Just shy of ** percent of respondents said they think greenwashing is utilized regularly by fashion brands to make their products appear more environmentally friendly or ethically produced than they really are.
