The live commerce landscape in the United States has dramatically changed over the past few years. While at the beginning of 2020, the shopping channel specializing in televised home products, QVC, accounted for ** percent of the U.S. livestream shopping app downloads, by 2022, it had shrunk to ** percent. In contrast, the live shopping app from community marketplace Whatnot went from making up a mere *** percent of downloads in this category in 2020 to more than a third (** percent) two years later.
