In the leading German-speaking economies, attitudes toward click & collect options are quite diversified, as a 2021 survey showed. While around *** in *** Austrian consumers claimed to opt for click & collect to save shipping costs, less than half (** percent) of respondents said the same in Switzerland. Meanwhile, ** percent of shoppers in Germany said they preferred to pick up their orders in stores as it was more environmentally friendly than other methods. That was also the opinion of ** percent of Swiss and ** percent of Austrian respondents.
