An August 2020 survey revealed that 46 percent of parents in the United States aged 45 to 64 reported that their child(ren) spent approximately 2 to 3 hours on a digital device daily prior to the March 2020 COVID-19 outbreak. Additionally, only 3 percent of U.S. parents in the same age group reported their children's device usage at the time time to amount to 8 to 9 hours.
