According to a survey from 2018, elderly Norwegians were generally more excited than scared about digitalization and technology development. In detail, 25 percent of the respondents strongly agreed to both liking and disliking the current digital evolution. However, 29 percent of the elderly agreed to finding the development exciting, whereas only 14 percent of the elderly was frightened by that thought. In similar vein, 23 percent of the respondents strongly disagreed that is was scary.
