Throughout 2021, around 30.9 percent of TV sets in Brazil that were on while Globo broadcast Fantástico were tuned into the show. A decade earlier, the share added up to 37.8 percent, whereas in 2001, it stood at over 47 percent. Fantástico consists of a mix of news and variety aired every Sunday evening. Globo – the most-watched TV channel in Brazil – launched the show in 1973.
