From April 18 to 24, 2022, nine out of the 10 most-viewed prime time programs on free-to-air TV in Peru were broadcast by América Televisión, run by the media conglomerate Grupo Plural TV. The telenovela "Maricucha" ranked first with ratings of 16.6 percent in the Lima metropolitan area. The only show broadcast by another channel to make it to the top 10 that week was ATV's gossip program "Magaly TV, La Firme" with 13.2 percent.
