According to a study held in March 2020, ** percent of adults in the United States are much more or somewhat more likely to watch movies via a streaming service due to the coronavirus outbreak. Over ** percent of adults also said that they were likely to watch more televison online, and many consumers also stated that they would probably sign up to a new service as a result of the pandemic. Millennial and Gen Z consumers favored movies over TV shows, and Boomers were notably less likely to increase their consumption of either streamed films or television.
