In 2024, the number of licensed hematologists in Brazil totaled around doctors, up from about specialists reported two years earlier. This figure has been steadily growing since the beginning of the period, when the number of hematologists registered in the South American country amounted to approximately doctors. Hematology is a field of medicine focused on the diagnosis and treatment of blood diseases.
