In 2024, the number of licensed endocrinologists in Brazil totaled around professionals, up from about specialists reported two years prior. This figure more than doubled compared to 2013, when doctors specializing in endocrinology amounted to physicians. As of that year, internal medicine and pediatrics were the medical fields with the most doctors registered in Brazil.
