A total of 428,500 doctors were employed in Germany. This was the highest figure since 1990. Doctors have always been important because illness is inescapable, however, the last 100 years in particular have seen a lot of scientific advancement. Therefore, having doctors who can diagnose illnesses, prescribe the necessary medication, or perform an operation if needed, is essential. Similarly, with people living longer and longer, there is a higher demand for doctors and medical professionals.
