The skin care market includes both retail and dermatology, a branch of medicine which deals with skin, hair and nail diseases. Skin care products include cosmetics, moisturizers, sun protection, acne treatments and other personal care products. In Canada, skin care products saw a **** percent sales growth in 2015, with face masks seeing the largest increase.

On average, the annual household expenditure on skin care and make-up products was *** Canadian dollars in 2017. For many consumers, skin care is a daily routine.
