This statistic shows the public opinion of Russians and Americans, about each other, from 2007 to 2015. In 2011, about half of Americans (49%) had a favorable opinion of Russia, but in 2015, only 22% of Americans were in favor of Russia.
Russian views of the U.S. have fallen off faster and further. In 2011, about half of Russians (49%) were in favor of the U.S., however in 2015, only 15% of Russians expressed the same.
