This statistic shows whether or not respondents to the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS) Energy and Climate Change Public Attitude Tracking Survey support the idea that nuclear energy generates economic benefits for the United Kingdom (UK) between 2012 and 2017. Levels of support for the statement remain similar across the survey period. In 2012 and 2016, over 40 percent of respondents agreed with the statement in some form, decreasing slightly to 39 percent in 2017.
