The survey is conducted in May and November each year, with the results published in July and January editions of the report. Retail performance figures for July 2011 to January 2014 are taken from the respective report editions.
** The Customer Satisfaction Index (UKCSI) measures customers' experiences of organisations in the previous three months to survey, using a series of satisfaction metrics related to professionalism, quality, efficiency, ease of doing business, timeliness, problem solving and complaint handling, on a scale from 1 to 10. The results represent the average of all survey responses, as an index value out of 100.
