Supplementary notes
The fashion market includes all segments of clothing produced for private end customers and is divided into the following product lines: women's clothing, men's clothing, and children's clothing. Workwear, as well as other personal accessories such as watches and jewelry, handbags, or similar items that do not count as actual garments, are not included. Nike, ZARA, H&M, and Uniqlo are the most valuable fashion brands in the world. Additionally, there are numerous small, medium, and large brands that operate successfully at the national or regional level. In general terms, distribution channels can be divided into stationary multi-brand product suppliers (department stores, traditional specialty stores), vertically integrated textile chains (e.g., H&M, Primark), and mail-order businesses (e-commerce, catalog ordering). Furthermore, some fashion brands seek direct contact with their customers through mono-brand stores.
