Since 1958, when the Fifth Republic was established, France has had eight different Presidents of the Republic, some of whom served multiple terms. Among these politicians, who was considered the best by the French in 2019, according to their political affiliation? It was observed that Emmanuel Macron was regarded as the best President of the French Republic among voters of the La République en Marche party, which he himself founded. In contrast, nearly half of the supporters of the Republicans named Charles de Gaulle. Among the Socialists, François Mitterrand received the most votes.
