According to a survey of 10 countries in 2024, four in ten older adults in Germany stayed in a hospital for at least one night in the past two years. This was the country with the highest rate of hospital admission among seniors. Meanwhile, only two in ten elderly in Canada and the UK were admitted to the hospital in the past two years.
