  • Japan will invest 550 billion dollars in the US, which will receive 90 percent of the profits. 
  • The UK will see a reduction in car import taxes and an end to 25 percent tariffs on steel and aluminum.
  • Vietnam will open its market to the US with zero tariffs.
  • Indonesia will eliminate customs barriers and will have to invest in American energy and military products.
  • The Philippines has opened its markets to the US with zero tariffs and will have to conduct joint military operations.
  • China will facilitate the export of rare earth minerals.
  • The European Union will have to invest 600 billion dollars in the United States, with 150 billion dollars going to energy.

A new round of tariffs imposed by the United States on third countries went into effect on August 1. By July 30, countries or economic unions had reached agreements with the United States. China reduced its tariff rate the most, from *** percent to ** percent.
