Reasons for GPs to remain in general practice in the UK 2024
A reduction in administrative workload was voted as the intervention most likely to retain UK GPs in general practice, according to a survey from 2024. Other possible retention strategies included a reduction also in clinical workload, protected training time, work flexibility among others. On the other hand, ** percent indicated that nothing would impact their decision to leave the field in the following years.
