Unemployment benefits are granted for four claims: laid-off, voluntary resignation, end of employment contract, and force of circumstances.
In the case of unemployment, the new unemployment is determined based on the number of individuals approved in that particular year. One unemployed case may be approved more than once.
 A person covered under the Social Security Act is an employee over the age of 15 and less than 60 who contributes to receiving benefits.  A person who reaches the age of sixty and has been employed by the employer under this Act will be considered an insured.
