U.S. social video platform engagement to watch live sports 2023
In May 2023, an online survey in the United States found that 33 percent of respondents had watched livestreams of sports games or replays on YouTube in the past month. Around 24 percent of respondents reported watching this type of content on Facebook. Twitch, the popular livestreaming platform for video gamers, was used by less than one in 10 American sports viewers as of the examined period.
