iQIYI, often dubbed as China's Netflix, has been neck to neck with Tencent Video in the Chinese video streaming market. In December 2024, the application of iQIYI, Milky Way Kiwi, detected about *** million over-the-top (OTT) devices activating the app, falling short of ** million active devices compared to Tencent Video's Jiguang TV app. The gap between the two heavyweights was smaller 11 months ago, with a difference of only *** million devices.
