In a survey conducted in April 2022 in Australia regarding post-pandemic consumer expectations of hotels, around half of respondents indicated that flexible bookings boosted their consumer loyalty, as it allowed them to change their plans in unforeseen circumstances, such as flooding. Over ** percent of those surveyed indicated that receiving complimentary food or beverages on arrival encourages them to remain loyal to a hotel.
