According to a survey conducted in December 2022, three percent of Indians highly trusted Google reviews and ratings when researching a business. Comparatively, ** percent of the respondents showed medium levels of trust in Google reviews and ratings. In response to increasing complaints about fake online reviews, the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) guidelines were brought into effect in November 2022.
