According to a survey conducted in August 2022, the greater share of Germans support the production of nuclear energy in Germany in the medium to long term. Only ** percent of the total respondents agree on the government's plan of phasing out nuclear power by the end of the year, and the majority of them belong to the Greens party. A striking ** percent of the AfD party supports the use of nuclear energy in the long term.
