Mark Rutte's fourth cabinet was inaugurated in January of 2022 following the 2021 general election. Trust in this cabinet, spearheaded by Rutte's VVD party, was the lowest it has been since its inauguration in September of 2022, with only 15 percent indicating they have trust in the cabinet. In April of 2024, this stood at 35 percent, the highest it has been since February of 2022.
