According to a survey carried out in August 2022, the higher the educational level, the more popular was incumbent President Jair Bolsonaro. Around ** percent of those surveyed who had higher education intended to vote for Bolsonaro, a share that went down to ** percent in the case of those whose highest educational attainment was elementary school. Among the latter, ** percent claimed that they would vote for Lula da Silva. The voting intention for Lula was also higher among women than men.
