According to a survey taken in April 2025, 41 percent of Canadian respondents trusted current Prime Minister and leader of the Liberal Party Mark Carney with handling U.S.-Canada tariffs. In comparison, 26 percent trusted Pierre Poilievre, the current leader of the Conservative Party.Â
