According to the data, the value of wine production in Italy has seen mostly steady growth, rising from 7.3 billion euros in 2011 to a peak of 16.3 billion euros in 2022. However, falling adverse weather conditions especially in Central and Southern Italy, the value of wine production in 2023 decreased to 13.3 billion euros. The year 2024 was a positive one, with the value of wine production in Italy growing back to over 16 billion euros.
