The export value of Italian red wines from Italy varied greatly between the first semester of 2012 and the first semester of 2024. As of the survey period, the export value of Italian PGI (Protected Geographical Indication) red wines has increased passing from million euros in the first semester of 2012, to million euros as of the first semester of 2024. The export value of Italian PDO (Protected Designation of Origin) red wine, showed some fluctuations but overall increasing to million euros by the first semester of 2024.
