On August 15, 2021, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, then in a favorable position in the polls, asked the Governor General to dissolve Parliament so that a new federal election could be held two years earlier than planned. While Canadians' voting intentions fluctuated only slightly between that decision and mid-September, it appears that more than *** in **** Canadians were still unsure about their final vote days before the election. Those most certain of their choice were among the Conservative Party, with ** percent of voters reporting their choice as final a few days before the election. It also appears that Annamie Paul's Green Party was the one that gathered the most early voters.
