"The European innovation scoreboard provides a comparative analysis of innovation performance in EU countries, other European countries, and regional neighbours. It assesses the relative strengths and weaknesses of national innovation systems and helps countries identify areas they need to address.
Employment impacts measures the impact on employment and includes two indicators: Employment in knowledge-intensive activities and Employment in innovative enterprises.
The EIS 2021 distinguish between four main types of activities, and 12 innovation dimensions, capturing in total 32 indicators."

According to the European innovation scoreboard, which measures innovation in Europe through a variety of different indicators, Israel had the highest score when it came to 'employment impacts' in 2022, a category which measures employment in knowledge-intensive activities, and employment in innovative enterprises.
