As of September 2020, ** percent of the Indonesian respondents stated they would not take the COVID-19 vaccination if it was available because they were not sure of its safety. Indonesia, which has recorded over * coronavirus cases, started its vaccine rollout on Jan 13, 2021, with the president Joko Widodo being the first recipient. Unlike most other countries which focused on vaccinating their older citizens first, Indonesia prioritized vaccination for people aged between 18 and 59 years old.
